| Who are we? |
| onlineMD is run by husband and wife team Lindsay Ashworth and Alan Fraser. Alan gained a BA Hons (1st) in Music from Glasgow University before studying a Masters in Composition at Edinburgh University. After completing a PGCE, Alan spent a number of years as a classroom teacher of music and has recently become a freelance musician juggling teaching, MD work, arranging and playing. Lindsay gained a BA Hons in Applied Music from Strathclyde University before studying Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She now works as an actor alongside running onlineMD. With their vast training, varied experience and knowledge of the music and theatre industries, Alan and Lindsay are the perfect team to provide you with all the musical expertise you need. |

How does onlineMD work? |
|
It's easy!
1. Click the link for the type of track you require from the Services menu above. 2. Fill in the form with the details of your track and add it to your cart. 3. Once you have chosen all the tracks you require, click on 'go to cart' where you can check your order before proceeding to the checkout. 4. Pay for your order securely via Paypal. 5. Send us your sheet music either by email or post. There is also an 'upload' option on each order form if you find this easier. 6. We will record your tracks and notify you by text when they are ready. Your tracks will be available to download from 'My Completed Items' and are supplied as mp3 files which are compatible with most computers & music players eg. iTunes, Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player & RealPlayer. |

How quickly will I receive my tracks? |

The maximum turnaround for our work is listed below but if you have an urgent request please contact us and we will do our best to meet your deadline. Do I have to supply sheet music for my tracks? |
| This is the easiest option so please do so if you can. You can either upload your sheet music as part of your order form (pdf, jpg, gif & zip files accepted) or complete your order then email/post your sheet music. However, if you do not have sheet music, there is an option when you order to ask onlineMD to source music on your behalf for a small charge. |

Do I have to order & pay online? |
| No, but it is the easiest way! However, if you would prefer to contact us directly with your order, please do so. We can send tracks direct to your email and invoice you securely via PayPal. |

Is my track fully legal and licensed? |
|
All tracks supplied by onlineMD are licensed by PRS which means that they can be used for private rehearsal or audition accompaniment. If you wish to perform publicly with any of our tracks, we advise you to contact PRS directly for further advice and ask that you credit onlineMD in any programme or publicity material. |

Why can't I order Bespoke Backing Tracks online? |
| Fully orchestrated Backing Tracks are a very individual service. We like to chat to you about your requirements (cuts, instrumental arrangements etc.) before proceeding with your order so please contact us to discuss what you need. We can then give you an accurate quote and timescale. |

Do you provide any other services? |
|
As well as recording tracks, we undertake Sheet Music Transposition & Piano/Vocal Transcription. See our Price List for details. If you have any other musical requirement not listed on our site, please contact us and we will do our best to help. |

What are your working hours? |
| Technically, our working hours are Monday to Saturday 10am-6pm. However, due to the crazy nature of this business and the last-minute nature of some auditions, you may need to contact us outside office hours. Please feel free to call us any time if you have an urgent request and we will do our very best to help. |
